MINOCAME この記事を書いた時、LeicaM10 Monochromeのことで頭が一杯だった。その後、LeicaM11に関する発表が’21年11月11日にLeica Camera AGからリリースされるのではという噂がネットで流れていたが、結局何もなく…..。これも噂でしかないのだろうけど、リリースが遅れている理由の一つとして半導体不足が上げられている…….。最近またLeica Rumorsが、Leica M11のリークされたイメージ画像とか公開しているが、Leica M11 Monochromeに関する情報は全然ない…….。どんだけでも待ちますぞ。そしてLeica M11 Monochromeがリリースされたら、Leica Store Kyotoに行ってすぐに予約入れる。
Leica Mデジタルを購入する
今まで、LeicaはLeica M3のみ2011年11月から使い続けている。今秋、このLeicaのフィルムカメラに加えて、デジタルカメラも購入することにした。
もちろんこれからも、Ｍ３で撮ってバライタに焼くことは楽しみ続けるつもり。Ｍ３をこの秋で満１０年使い続けてきた記念として、尚且つこれからも大好きなLeica Mを使い続けたいという思いも重なり、Ｍシリーズのデジタル機を手にしたいという気持ちを、もう抑え切れない。
購入するなら、M10-RかM10 Monochromeにしたいと思っている。もし、万が一この秋までに新機種の発表がLeicaから出た場合は、発売まで待つかもしれないが．．．．．。レンズは、これまでLeitz Summiux 35mmと50mmの球面レンズを使い続けているので、デジタル機の購入に合わせて、50mmか35mmで、Summiluxの最新ASPHも合わせて購入したいと考えている。一番気になるのは、M10 Monochrome。M3で撮影する時、MC-YA2などのフィルターを使うことがある。M10 MonochromeはM10-Rのカラーフィルターを取り除いたかたちとなるため、デジタル機なのにフィルムカメラと同様にモノクロ用のフィルターワークも可能で、他のデジタル機では味わえない撮影方法を楽しめるのが大きな魅力。M3で撮る時は常にモノクロフィルムしか使っていないので、そういう意味でもM10 Monochromeに興味深々である。カラーで撮れないのではつまらんという人もいるかもしれない。しかし、ライカのそういう余計なものを排除してシンプルさの中から他にはない価値を付加する考え方が好きだ。
しかし実際、私はカラーで撮るのも好きである。もしM10 Monochromeを購入した場合は、カラーは手持ちのNikon Z7IIで楽しみ続けたいと思う。
購入する場所は、もう決めてある。Leica Store Kyotoで買う。今まで新品のカメラを購入する場合、いつもヨドバシカメラで買ってきた。しかし、Leicaの新品は本家本元のLeicaの直営店で購入したい。この４月に、同じ京都市内で引っ越ししたのであるが、新しい家の購入理由の一つが、大好きなLeica Store Kyotoが極めて徒歩圏内になるからである。
気になることがある。M3のような機械式カメラのよいところは、構造がシンプルで尚且つ電子部品を一切使っていないことによって、Leicaが非常に長期間純正のスペアパーツを提供してくれていることにある。実際、私が使い続けているLeica M3は1966年に製造されたパーツを組み上げて作られているのであるが、多くの純正部品が今でも手に入る。機械式カメラだから、純正パーツが入手不可でも最終手段として３Dプリンターやその気になれば試作用金型の素材で金型を用意して数点射出成型で部品を作るなんてこともやってやれないことはない。しかし、赤城耕一先生も数多くの著作の中で仰っている通り、電子部品はなかなかそうはいかない。万が一M10の電子制御部品や撮像素子に問題が出て、最悪交換しなければいけないという事態になった場合、どれだけ長期間スペアパーツが手に入る状態を維持してくれるのか．．．．．．この点は非常に気になるポイントだ。この点については、Leica Store Kyotoで各機種の純正スペアパーツをこの先いつまで供給保証してくれるのかじっくりと伺いたい。
いずれにしても、この秋が待ち遠しい。当分ウキウキ気分でどのＭシリーズのどのデジタル機を買おうかと吟味しながら楽しみにしたい。
Buy Leica M Digital in this Autumn
Until now I’ve been using only M3 as Leica camera since ’11 Nov. This Autumn, will purchase digital Leica in addition to the film range finder one.
Of course, I still enjoy printing with baryta fiber base paper. shooting with Leica M3. But as 10th anniversary of my usage of Leica M3, respecting the long lasting craftsmanship and as the evidence of my quite favor into Leica, I decided to buy the digital Leica M.
Which camera I want to get in this Autumn? Yeah, that’s pickle. But will select Leica M10-R or M10 Monochrome, although….if Leica implement some announcement of new camera release on Leica M digital family, I might change mind….
Anyway, tell about lens. Until now I has used Summilux 35mm & 50mm. Both pre-ASPH. Traditional one. This time with M10-R or M10 monochrome, I must select the latest Summilux 35mm or 50mm with ASPH. It is also one of pleasure until I buy Leica M digital in this Autumn.
Frankly speaking, at this moment, my highest interest is in Leica M10 monochrome. It is just non color filter version of Leica M10-R. Therefore as if it is the genuine film cameral with monochrome negative film, the unique system realize the enjoyment of filter work for lens, like as MC-YA2, YA3, R1 , PO1, etc. I would like to compare the image among Leica M3 + B&W negative film and Leica M10 Monochrome.
On the other hand, I also like the photo with color image. One idea is that I enjoy digital monochrome with Leica M10 Monochrome, while the color photograph will be taken by my Nikon Z7II with Nikkor Z series.
I will buy at Leica Kyoto Store. Normally I always buy brand new camera at the mage retailer, Yodobashi Camera. But in case of Leica’s new camera, would like to get at directly managed store by Leica Camera AG. In Apr ’21, I moved into new house in same Kyoto city. It is serious walking distance from Leica Store Kyoto. It is one of strong reason why I moved.
In case of Leica M3, it is completely mechanical. No electric parts with semiconductor. My Leica M3 consists of the parts made in 1966. Yeah, it is quite long time ago. But I’m still able to get the genuine spare parts.
On the other hand Lieca M10-R and M10 Monochrome, they have the modern technology with many of electric parts. My question is if my new Leica digital camera show some problem on image sensor or other electric parts, how long time Leica Camera AG keep the spare parts.
Before I buy Leica M10-R or M10 Monochrome, at Leica Store Kyoto, I ask this straight forward question.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to visiting Leica Store Kyoto in this Autumn to select my new Leica M Digital, taking photo with Leica M3 and other cameras.
